From talking to people, it seems to me that people have a spectrum of how much they believe the Christian bible.
The bible is inerrant and has no contradictions.
The bible has minor contradictions introduced by copying, but none are anything that matter or that change core doctrines.
The bible has some contradictions, but they are to be expected. It still contains wisdom and lessons applicable to modern life.
The bible was just a snapshot and needs to be constantly reinterpreted based on guidance of religious people. (Like a pope or Oprah or yourself.)
The bible is just one holy book with kernels of wisdom. It’s like a take a penny, leave a penny tray.
The bible was written a long time by men and reflects the best they could do at the time. As such it’s full of mistakes and contradictions.
